Quimera
This is a collection of images that I find visually stimulating, along with quotes I like. My main interests are architecture, nature, sensuality, art and different cultures ( I specially love beautiful middle eastern/arab and turkish stuff ). None of these pics are mine.

Idiomatic Expression - un ojo de la cara

lalieud:

spanishskulduggery:

Literally, “an eye from the face”

Idiomatically, you use it as costar(le) un ojo de la cara “to cost (someone) an arm and a leg”, or valer un ojo de la cara “to be worth an arm and a leg”.

Sometimes it means physical effort, sometimes it means actual money. Like in English, it implies that it’s not easy to get.

Same in Italian: “un occhio della testa/fronte”.
